In partnership with TBWA / Tequila Singapore UNIFEM Singapore will be launching a campaign website against sex trafficking in Feb 2010.
The Website 'Sound Out Against Sex Trafficking' aims to raise awareness among the general public about the issue of sex trafficking particularly in Singapore. It will contain information and contacts for organizations and schools wishing to get involved in the campaign, up to date information on the issue and an events calendar. The website will also have an interactive element where people can pledge their support for the campaign by 'ringing a bell', to be heard loud and clear to be opposed to the practice of sex trafficking.
Launched in May 2008 by UNIFEM, H.O.M.E and TWC2, this public education campaign is aimed at encouraging Singaporean employees to give their domestic workers a regular day off.
